He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Abelardo Atkinson and Angelita Tijerina Atkinson; and his siblings, Samuel Atkinson and Maria Angelica Atkinson. He is survived by : his siblings, Jose Abelardo Atkinson and Margarita Atkinson; his children, Connie Atkinson, Antonio Atkinson, Jr., Patty Galindo, Moises Atkinson and Louis Abelardo Atkinson; and his grandchildren, Elvira Jazmine Aguilar, David Alan Aguilar, Alexis Amparo Aguilar, Samantha Aguilar, Gianna Amparo Aguilar, Dayana Rose Galindo, Kenia Itzel Galindo and Sofia Rose Atkinson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Farewell Funeral Service - Palm Bluffs (660 W Locust Ave, Fresno, CA 93650).
