He was predeceased by : his granddaughter Stacee Tsuruoka. He is survived by : his children, Jeffry Tsuruoka (Diane), Shari Sakamoto (Daryle) and Cindy Iwamoto (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Samantha Tsuruoka-Bui, Nam Bui, Jimmy Tsuruoka, Taylor Sakamoto, Matthew Hilton, Scotty, Jaclyn Sakamoto, Tara Iwamoto, Dave Mugford and Kyle Iwamoto.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fresno Buddhist Temple (2690 E Alluvial Ave, Fresno, CA 93720).
