He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ralph Carlos and Annie Carlos; his sisters, Sylvia and Nancy; his former life partner Jennie Ontiveros; his children, Richard, Lorraine and Marina; his wife Julie Lynn Pethtel; his daughter Kristen; his sons-in-law, Alex Rivera, Edgar Leal and Ben Stodghill; his grandchildren, Tiffany and Cash; his great grandchildren, Gurteg and Jasleen; his siblings, Roseann Rodriguez, Larry and George Sanchez; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Mirelez, Rene Lozano and Laura Whitford.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel (202 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Belmont Memorial Park (201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses (4323 N Hughes Ave, Fresno, CA 93705).
