She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernice Davis and Creed Edwards; and her husband James Vaughn. She is survived by : her children, Arthur Sanders, Venus Franks and Jeanette Vaughn. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, as well as extended family and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel (202 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Belmont Memorial Park (201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706).
