She was predeceased by : her parents, Lonnie Briggs and Mattie Briggs; her sister Sadie Grier; her husband Eugene Manning; her siblings, Daisy Flake and Sunday Briggs; her daughters, Emilette Celeste Briggs and Arlenda Gail Briggs; and her grandsons, Jasper L. Briggs and Terrence Briggs.
She is survived by : her sons, Edward Gregory Manning (Renette) and Allen Fitzgerald Manning; her grandson Edward L. Manning; and her children, Robert Bell, LaSheila Johnson (Jordan), Jarvis Manning, Kariesa Manning and Markesha Briggs. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
