He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Nathanial and Beula Mae Wilkerson (Catterton); and his siblings, Donald Catterton and Margaret Tawney. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Wilkerson; his children, Charles "Chuck" Wilkerson, Jr., Chris Brittingham of West Virginia and Lisa Witcher of Dover, DE; his grandchildren, Mary Witcher, Kyle Wilkerson and Taylor Colman; his siblings, Gene Wilkerson (Vera), Vernon Wilkerson (Gloria), Evelyn Poole, Judy Jenkins and Betty Sue Long (Charlie); and his pet Sassy.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church (155 E Mt Harmony Rd, Owings, MD 20736).
