With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Wayne Wheatley of Lincoln, Delaware, born in Milford, Delaware, who passed away on May 9, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Wheatley and Shirley Wheatley (Conway); his sister Katheryn Bassett; and his uncle Joseph E. Sullivan. He is survived by : his wife Linda Wheatley (Niblett); his children, Kevin Wayne Wheatley (Denise), Beth Ann Smick (Bryan), Kenda L. Ennis (Richie) and Nicole R. Cahall (Robert); and his grandchildren, Jesse Wheatley, Regan Wheatley, Joshua Ennis and Emma Holt.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lofland Funeral Home (102 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to either Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware 19963 or to the DSP Museum, P.O Box 430, Dover, DE 19903-0430.
