She was predeceased by : her parents, Leland Burgess and Margaret Mundorff Pickering; and her husband L. Dexter Coffield. She is survived by : her children, Mark Coffield (Oli), Viet Nam, Kelley Coffield of Houston, Texas and Craig Coffield (Judi) of Magnolia, Delaware.; and her grandchildren, Burgess Coffield (Amy) of Kaysville, Utah, Asher Coffield of Los Angeles, California, Margaret Kozel (Sean) of Buda, Texas, Peter Scamardo of San Antonio, Texas, Elizabeth Scamardo of Belton, Texas, Danielle Coffield Smith of Magnolia, Delaware, Joshua Coffield (Genevieve) of Lewes, Delaware and Nathan Coffield (Sara) of Hayward, California. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or to Delaware Hospice.
