She was predeceased by : her parents, Wirt Goff and Violet Smith (McCray); her husband Kenneth Allen Ellis; her daughter Kathryn Souder; her granddaughter Christy Souder; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel Souder and Austin Myers.

She is survived by : her children, Kenneth A. Ellis, Jr., Virginia A. Souder (Buck) and Larry W. Ellis (Susan); her brother William Smith; and her grandchildren, Neal, Jennifer, Stacey (Jimmy), BJ, Jason (Marissa), Stefanie, Kristina (Andrew), Tracy and Kathy (Michelle). She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
