She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Lathbury and Marella Ann Lynch Lathbury; her husband George W. Knox; her daughter Judith D. Warrington; her sons-in-law, William B. Warrington, Jr. and Charles P. Townsend, Jr.; and her sisters, Mabel Clogg and Hazel Evans.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Jane Townsend, Roger Knox (Sue) and Arlene Layton (Bruce). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ocean View Chapel (38040 Muddy Neck Rd, Ocean View, DE 19970). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Mariner's Bethel Cemetery (81 Central Ave, Ocean View, DE 19970).

The family has requested that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution, to kindly consider donating, in her name, to the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company.
