It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman N. Poole of Seaford, Delaware, born in Nassawadox, Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Norman had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Norman may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Poole and Etta Poole. He is survived by : his wife Rose W. Poole; his daughter Yolanda Verrett (Terrence); and his grandchildren, Jordan and Nia Perkins. He is also survived by two nieces; one nephew; several cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macedonia A. M. E. Church (431 North St, Seaford, DE 19973). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
