With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley I Skinner (Seaford, Delaware), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Shirley's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Shirley has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Skinner and Helen Skinner; her daughter-in-law Po-Kim Fogel; and her granddaughter Casey Fogel. She is survived by : her brother George H. Skinner; and her children, Tom Thomas (Bonnie), Scott Thomas (Sheila), Jenny McClenaghan (Deane), Larry Fogel (Gloria) and Matt Fogel (Jill).

A graveside service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (514 3rd St, Seaford, DE 19973).

In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to a no-kill cat shelter, a cause close to Shirley's heart.
