It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette Julia Piekarski (Wilmington, Delaware), who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Piekarski and Victoria Piekarski (Delikat); her brother Richard Piekarski Sr.; and her great-nephew Bryan Kosc. She is survived by : her sister-in-law Dorothy Piekarski; her nephew Richard Piekarski Jr.; her nieces, Eileen Kosc and Christine Piekarski; and her great-nephew Brandon Kosc.

Viewing was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Doherty Funeral Home - Pike Creek (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707). A burial was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at the Cathedral Cemetery (2400 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington, DE 19805).
