She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary "Mae" Sherry and Alfred Sherry; and her siblings, Mary Peer and James Sherry. She is survived by : her children, Ronald A. Balsamo, Jr. (Marlo), Nancy A. Bruen (Elliott), Margaret Anne Balsamo and John A. Balsamo (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Conor, Corina, Kylee, Jake and Melchor; her great grandchildren, Hazel, Zephyr and Blaze; and her pet Heather.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
