She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Louis Barnes and Elsie Lee Gray Barnes; and her sisters, Norma Roberta Neel (Clarence) and Elza Louise Hobbs (Glenn). She is survived by : her husband Jerrel Buel Powell; her children, Janice West (Jim), Brenda Day, Nancy Powell and Dale Powell (Linda Randall); and her grandchildren, Samuel West, Melissa West, Laura Powell and Miranda Griego (Ben). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
