She was predeceased by : her significant other Milton L. James (Jimmy); and her sons, William David James and Richard David James. She is survived by : her children, Dee Batten (Mike), Robert James and Susan Thompson (Mark); and her great grandchildren, William Durham (Nikki), Tommy Durham, Jennifer Perri (Ryan), Christina Frantz (Alex), Megan Thompson, Richard James, Christopher James, Brandon James, Kaitlynn Durham, Chloe Ryals, Joseph Durham, Thomas Durham, Wyatt Durham, Claire Perri and Corbin Perri.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home (850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hills Memory Gardens (850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225).
