Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph Carl leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Sr. and Marjorie; and his brothers, Thomas and Paul. He is survived by : his wife Judith; his son Dr. Brad Elias; his grandsons, Josh and Bradley; and his brother Daniel.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home (11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
