It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Frances Suggs Barfield (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her sons, Joseph Wayne Pollard and Randall Oneal Barfield, Jr.; her sister Ruby Paramore; and her grandchildren, Devin Lloyd Pollard and Brana Nichole Barfield.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Jacksonville Baptist Church (5634 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at the Riverside Memorial Park (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
