She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Pickett and Marie Haddock Pickett Clark; her sisters, Emma Weeks and Nettie Pickett; and her daughter-in-law Donna Hamilton.

She is survived by : her children, Debbie McGinnis (Lee) and Gene Hamilton; her grandson Scott Shoemaker; her great grandchildren, Drew, Max and Rain Shoemaker; her brother-in-law Claude Weeks; her nephews, Russ Weeks and David Weeks (Susan); her great-nephew Matthew; and also, Leo and Ava.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Shore Baptist Church (2365 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
