With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Suzanne Sweat Abad (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Suzanne Sweat had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Suzanne Sweat may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bettye Sweat and Morris Sweat; and her brother Harold Sweat. She is survived by : her children, Rick Sweat and AJ Abad; and her sister Linda Gerth.

The family requests instead of traditional sets of flowers, to either send potted plants for a garden planted in her honor or to donate to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance or Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center.
