He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Wood "D. W." Whitehead and Phyllis Marie Browning Whitehead; his sister Donna Faye Reid; and his pet BoJack. He is survived by : his wife Betty Whitehead of Macon; his children, Denise Whitehead of Dalton, Jeff Whitehead (Kasey Thomas) of Macon, Steven Denton (Tonya) of Hiawassee and Katina Denton of Zebulon, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Zachary Ward, Hannah Hunter, Justin Whitehead, Jordan Denton, Steven Denton, Salena Williams and Josh Heflin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
