He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Bazemore and Mary Pearl Bazemore; and his wife Phyllis Anna Boykin Bazemore. He is survived by : his sons, Chris Bazemore (Melissa) of Statesboro, Mike Bazemore (Sarah) of Bluffton, SC and Nick Bazemore (Jennifer) of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Whitley Bazemore, Lauryn Bazemore, Brooks Bazemore, Lane Bazemore, Kevin Michael Bazemore, Jodi Ellis, Amber Minick (Jeb) and Brooke Dickey (Dakota); his great grandchild Harper Dickey; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Cameron and Daryl Rose.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home - Statesboro (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
