She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Ellis Pennington and Martha Elizabeth Mosier Hodge. She is survived by : her children, Walter Mattingly and Amanda Mahoney (Jamie); and her grandchildren, Sylvia Underwood (Alex), Abbie Faulkner-Mahoney, Emily Grow (Trevor) and Andrew Mahoney (Heather). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
