Oberbeck of Attleboro, Massachusetts, born in Roslindale, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Jacobson and Esther Jacobson; and her husband George Oberbeck. She is survived by : her children, Steven Petrie (Janet), Ellen Petrie, Daniel Petrie (Karen) and Susan Donoghue (David); her grandchildren, Jacob (Kimber), Ian, Kelsey, Emily, Jillian and Roman; her stepgrandchildren, Simone, Hannah and Nick; and also Gemma.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Attleboro Public Library or Doctors Without Borders in Joann's memory.
