With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan M. (Collins) Drane of Reading, Massachusetts, born in Malden, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Collins and Marie Collins (O'Loughlin); her husband Charles J. Drane, Jr.; and her brother John "Jack" Collins (Joyce Collins) of Billerica. She is survived by : her children, Nancy Drane (Dana Colarulli) of Alexandria, VA and Charles J. Drane III (Elena) of Milton; her grandchildren, Emily, Alexandra Drane, Ailinn and Braeden Colarulli; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty" Gould of Reading and Lucile Drane of Norton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other cherished neighbors and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Church (186 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867).
