We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2024, at the age of 93, Arthur Leigh Irving (Boston, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Arthur's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by : his parents, New Brunswick and Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens (Kenneth Colin Irving). He is survived by : his wife Sandra Irving; his brother James K. Irving; his children, Jennifer Goddard, Kenneth Irving, Arthur Irving Jr., Emily Irving and Sarah Irving; and his brother Jack. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, a great granddaughter, and many wonderful friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Brenan's Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row, Saint John).

For those who wish to honour his life and his deep desire to help cancer researchers, doctors and other cancer patients, donations may be made to the Mass General Cancer Care Center.
