He was predeceased by : his father Sebastiao Dias; and his sister Maria Barreto Simoes. He is survived by : his mother Erzita Barreto; his wife Nerilda Madrona Dias; his sons, Reggie Dias (Isabel) and Doug Dias (Melissa); his grandchildren, Victor, Thomas, Olivia, Connor and Hunter; and his siblings, Jose Dias Barbosa, Osvaldo Dias Barreto, Cirlene Marins Dias and Santos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
