It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lawrence Doheney III of Georgetown, Massachusetts, born in Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Catherine Doheney (McManus); his parents, Lawrence Doheney and Carmilla Doheney; his son Vincent Doheney; and his sibling Jackie Doheney.

He is survived by : his daughters, Cheryl Haley (John) of Georgetown, MA and Lynne Auger of Charleston, NC.; his grandchildren, Vincent Doheney of Bourne, MA, Emily Cannizzaro (Chris) of Easton, MA, Benjamin Haley of Georgetown, MA., Annie Haley of Georgetown, MA. and Madison Haley of Georgetown, MA.; and his brother Lawrence Doheney (Barbara). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Driscoll Funeral Home & Cremation Service (309 S Main St, Haverhill, MA 01835). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (94 Andover St, Georgetown, MA 01833).
