With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary S. Langer of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on April 28, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Robert S. Langer, Sr.; her sisters, Hannah Penrose and Florence S. Hearst; her son-in-law Brian Bower; and her parents, Jerome Swartz and Cora Swartz (Lewi).

She is survived by : her children, Dr. Robert S. Langer and Katherine Bower; her grandchildren, Michael Langer, Susan Langer Denner (Alexander) and Samuel Langer (Rüya); her great grandchild Penelope Denner (Poppy); and her friend Luciana Lanciani. She is also survived by her family and friends.
