He was predeceased by : his parents, Guy H. Iby and Irene V. Iby (Lepan); and his brother Richard H. Iby. He is survived by : his wife Yvette R. Iby (Thibault); his children, David Iby (Marsha), Rich Iby (Nancy Beecy), Lynda Dionne (Michael) and Michael Iby; his grandchildren, David Iby (Trish), Alex Iby (Rebecca Niland), Brooke Lepke (Erik), Paige Mahoney (Tommy), Hannah Dionne, Chris Iby (Cara) and Amanda Iby (Dave Quinn); and his sister-in-law Jeanette Iby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home (327 Hildreth St, Lowell, MA 01850). A Mass was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Church (115 Wheeler Rd, Dracut, MA 01826).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Greater Lowell YMCA, 35 YMCA Drive, Lowell, MA 01852.
