She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl West and Dorothy Royals; and her son William Jackson III. She is survived by : her close friend Raymond Gibson; and also, Valerie Akins, Loray White, Sheldon K. Jackson "Buddy", Fern Seay and Michael A. Morris. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Lopes Funeral Home (821 Cummins Hwy, Mattapan, MA 02126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
