He was predeceased by : his parents, Elijah White and Nadi Bell White Sr. of Montgomery; his siblings, Lillian Hamilton, Moses White, Mary Samuel, Millie Goldsmith, Solomon White and Troy Dates; and his sons, Troy Dates, Solomon White (Millie Goldsmith) and Moses White (Lillian Hamilton).

He is survived by : his wife Paulette White; his children, Kenneth Woods (Vanessa), Marvin Woods (Cynthia), Brenice Sterling and Winona Cole (Devin); his siblings, James White, Janie Jones and Lula Palmer; and his grandchildren, Marvin Jr., Matthew, Micah, Malik, Jaquan, Jasper III, Javonte, Troy Jr. Corey, Noah, Nathaniel, Kiana and Kennedi.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church (1367 Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (355 Walk Hill St, Boston, MA 02131).

He was a generous individual who loved donating to many charities, individuals, or organizations to help those in need.
