He was predeceased by : his wife Linda Murphy; his brother Dennis Murphy of Londonderry, NH; and his mother-in-law Louise Noonan of Lynn, MA.. He is survived by : his sons, Bryan Murphy of Ohio and Jason Murphy; his sister-in-law Nancy Murphy of Londonderry, NH; his brother Rick (Sharon Murphy) of Alton, NH; and his siblings-in-law, Martin, Nancy Noonan of Westwood, MA, Mike, Donna Molligi of Lynn, MA, Marc and Deb Ducharme of Lynn, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 at 12:45 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (190 Lynnfield St, Lynn, MA 01904).
