Though Lydia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lydia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Angel Rivera and Eulalia Cartagena Rivera; and her daughter Margarita Canuel (Phil) of Florida. She is survived by : her husband Victor M. Rosario; and her children, Victor Rosario, Jr. (Carmen) of Springfield, Hector Rosario (Hilda) of East Longmeadow, Maria Acuna (Alfonso) of Springfield and Anna Santana (Felix) of Springfield.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ma Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
