She was predeceased by : her parents, John H. and Mary L. Mooney (Godaire); her siblings, Rose Mooney and John Mooney; her husband Norman V. Fontaine; and her son Donald G. Fontaine.

She is survived by : her sons, David G. Fontaine (Deborah) of Wells, VT and Robert N. Fontaine (Carol) of Laconia, NH; her grandchildren, Gina Groff (Timothy), Kamryn C. Fontaine, Jeremey R. Fontaine (Molly) and Stephanie A Fontaine; and her great grandchildren, Lilianna, Layla, Lydia Groff, Cecelia and Madeline Fontaine.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mary Mother of Hope Church (840 Page Blvd, Springfield, MA 01104). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
