He was predeceased by : his parents, Miguel Rivera and Genoveva Dejesus. He is survived by : his close friend Ada Davies; his son Angel L Rivera, Jr.; his stepson Jose Santiago; and his granddaughter Natalia. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joan of Arc Church (570 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Angel's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research hospital.
