He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur M. Sears, Jr. and Alice M. Drechsler Sears; and his wife Bonnie M. Sears (Keenan). He is survived by : his siblings, Cindy Atkinson (Bill), Diane Meyer (Donnie), Jeannie Nalley and Arthur M. Sears, III (Jean); his nieces and nephews, Tracy Morgan (Sears), Brandon Sears, Thomas Novak, III (T. J.), Christopher Johnson, Ashley Novak, Carrie Johnson, Ciera Atkins, Alexceya Meyer, Tyler Atkinson, Chayce Meyer, Brayden Meyer and Bethany Atkinson; and his brother-in-law John Stump. He is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews, his Father and Mother in-law.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville (1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228).
