She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Messick and Elsie Todd Messick; and her siblings, Eldon Messick, Todd Messick and Sandra Harper.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Mackert of Federalsburg; her children, Danny Morris (Charlotte) of Preston, Gordon Morris (Lynn) of Irvine, KY, Neal Morris (Terry) of Preston and Karen Breeding (Richard) of Ocean City; and her sister Donna Lane (Milton) of Preston. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
