It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Jean Benson (Marquette, Michigan), born in Gladstone, Michigan, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Erfourth and Ida Erfourth (Burdick); her husband Walter G. Benson Jr.; and her son Robert Lewis Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Brenda Popps (Pete), Sherry Branham (Darryl) of Darrin and Benson; her daughter-in-law Tracey Lewis; and her grandchildren, Britnee, Joe, Brad, Chelsey, Amber, Cale and Jessica.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (401 W Kaye Ave, Marquette, MI 49855). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
