He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Arthur and Marcella Anna Platt (Fallmer); and his brother Jerry Harrington. He is survived by : his niece Susan Neumeier (Jason) of Escanaba; his nephew James Harrington of Petoskey, MI; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke, Ben, Jacob Anthony, Annabelle, Irene and Ulric Neumeier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Special Olympics.
