With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard James Howard (Marquette, Michigan), who passed away on April 21, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his siblings, Ted Howard, Floyd Howard and Betty Jean Howard. He is survived by : his wife Jeannie; his children, Richard Howard of Traverse City, MI, Diana Dunklow of Traverse City, MI, Brian Howard of Marathon, FL, Becky Nix (Jody) of Decatur, MI, Kim Howard of Traverse City, MI and Christy Howard of Traverse City, MI; his stepdaughters, Marcie Magee of Skandia, MI and Catina Downey (Paul) of Rapid City, MI; and his siblings, Dude Howard (Barbara) of Marquette and Joanne Smith of Indiana. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In honor of Richard's memory, memorials may be directed to UP Home Health and Hospice, an organization that provides compassionate care and support to families like his own.
