She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Krannitz and Helen Krannitz (Ridenour); her husband Tarry John Duram; and her brother Kenneth Krannitz. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Valarie Smith (David), Morgan Rollins (Chaz) and Baylee Dennis (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Jessie, Wyatt, Lilabeth, Elyana, Chaz Jr., Freya, Cash, Karsen, Finley, Dylann, Sophie and Sylvia; her son-in-law Charlie Brokstad; her sister-in-law Marva Raymond; her close friend Lynn Torrent; and her pets, Maxine and Stella.

Contributions in Kay's memory can be made to Shiloh Tabernacle church.
