She was predeceased by : her parents, Mormie Dean Williamson and Viola Williamson; her siblings, D. V. Williamson, Elizabeth Williamson, Culbreth "Curt" Williamson, Brannon "Jim" Williamson and Shelton Williamson; and her brother-in-law William Haynes Britt.

She is survived by : her children, William Thomas Britt (Pam) of Sanford, Donnie Haynes Britt (Tammy) of Boardman, James Michael Britt (Shellie) of Chadbourn, Jennie Britt Herring and Sheila Britt Strickland (Boyd) of Cerro Gordo; her grandchildren, Jeremy Britt (Ashli), Donald Britt (Beth), Lance Britt (Nancy), Chadwick Herring (Heather), Cortney Jones (Jason), Jami Britt Noble (Seth), Alex Britt (Kayla), Jason Strickland (Jena) and Jonathan Strickland (Tori); and her sister Sue Walters of Lumberton, J. K.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
