He was predeceased by : his parents, J. V. Soles and Mabel McCracken Soles; and his sisters, Betty Soles Yow and Nina Soles Carroll. He is survived by : his wife Lorena Jordan Soles; his children, Billie Dale McKenzie (Patrick) of Charleston, Sherri Blackman of Chadbourn and Jordan D. Blackman of Chadbourn; his grandchildren, Cameron Allmendinger (Anna), Haley Connor and Mitchell McKenzie (Katie); and his brother Kenneth Ray Soles (Candy) of Chadbourn.
