She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira James Simmons and Mattie Mae Cribb Simmons; her husband Phillip Dew, Sr.; her daughter Charlene Dew Hardgraves; and her siblings, Bill Simmons, Pearl Dew, JB Simmons and Jimmy Simmons.
She is survived by : her children, Ray Dew (Carolyn Worthington) of Chadbourn, Phillip Dew, Jr. (Norma Jean) of Chadbourn, Kevin Dew (Gina) of Chadbourn and Barbara Garcia (Rickey) of Shelbyville, TN; her sisters, Marlene Lane of Perry, FL and Doris Langley of Jacksonville, NC; her grandchildren, Brandy Giles (Cody), Melissa Thompson (Jake), Shaun Bishop (Ashley), Brandon Dew (Amanda), Cori Hilbourn (Quinn), Tanner Dew, Colton Dew (Caitlyn Bass), Ronson Garcia (Leanne), Eric Garcia, Frank Bruno, Gianna Bruno and Roco Bruno; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Thompson, Owen Thompson, Asher Thompson, Ryman Bishop, Judah Bishop, Brenton Hilbourn, Braelyn Hilbourn, Liam Shipman, Layne Clewis, Charli Ann Dew and Muhleik Richardson.
