It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Pinyan of Chadbourn, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnny Franklin Stewart and Emma Jane Godwin Stewart; her sons, Eric Pinyan and John Curtis Pinyan; and her siblings, Mitchell Gray Stewart, Donald Carl Stewart, Morris Wayne Stewart and Sandra Jean Bailey.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Curtis Pinyan; and her son Corey Lee Pinyan.
