She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Carteret and Doris Carteret. She is survived by : her children, Terry Ritchart (Rhonda), Tracy Ritchart (Heather) and Crystal Pait (Danny); and her sister Mona "Lisa" Fields. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
