It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Denton Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Annie Muriel Daye and Philip Martin Johnson; and his brother Robert Philip Johnson. He is survived by : his daughters, Brittany Huckaby (William) and Hollis Wilson (James); his grandchildren, Huck, Lilly Huckaby and Fiona Wilson; and his sisters, Carla Lewis (Ken) and Phyllis Johnson.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hill Church (7224 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210).
