She was predeceased by : her parents, Houshang Esfandiary and Batool Esfandiary; and her husband Hassan. She is survived by : her children, Amir (Anne), Ali (Maggie) and Ghazale (Andy); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Maddy, Alex, Harrison, Lia and Millie.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church (2929 Selwyn Ave, Charlotte, NC 28209).
