He was predeceased by : his brother Gilbert Leon Samuels; and his parents, Gilbert Samuels and Adele Wilson. He is survived by : his wife Rose; his children, Gary T. Samuels and Shawn Claybrooks (Frazel); his grandchildren, Aja Bailey, Andrea Samuels, Alia Samuels, Galen Claybrooks (Jasmin), Jordan Claybrooks and Zion Claybrooks; his great grandchildren, Andre, Amauri, Nora and Nyla; and his sisters, Marsha Samuels, Cindy Bundy and Cathy Samuels. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
